May 4 Highgrove Wedding

Congrats to Christina and Robert on their fabulous wedding a few weekends ago. The decor was elegant rustic as the bride used lots of special touches to make the wedding charming and special. The ceremony was held at our Garden Pergola overlooking the lake where the florist hung sweet kissing balls of flowers. Following the ceremony, the cocktail hour on the patio featured our Beef Tenderloin on Crostini with Horseradish, Seared Tuna with Wasabi and Soy in Tins, Buttermilk Cheese Biscuits with Ham, and Fried Green Tomatoes with Homemade Pimento Cheese on Crostini. Dinner was served Family Style and included our Braised Short Ribs with Cheddar Grits, Salmon Poached in White Wine, Roasted New Potatoes, and Green Beans Almondine along with salads and Rosemary Bread. Following dinner, everyone took to the dance floor, taking a short break later on for cake, champagne and our famous Krispy Kreme Flambe Station with Homemade Maple Ice Cream and Pink Sea Salt-- delicious! It was a beautiful affair to start a very busy May!
