May 25 Highgrove Wedding

Another picture perfect day for a wedding! It was a splendid affair for the celebration of Denise and Levi last Saturday at Highgrove. The ceremony was held under our garden pergola where 115 of the couples close friends and family looked on. Cocktail hour was held on our upper patio and included lots of delicious choices for guests to enjoy. Cuban Sandwiches with Rum and Coke were displayed on our rustic farm table outside, in addition, servers passed our Cheddar Cheese Buttermilk Biscuits with Ham and Honey Mustard, Crab Cakes with Aioli Sauce, and Shrimp, Shallot, and Parmesan Filled Mushrooms. The signature cocktail at the bar was our house made Red Sangria-- a big hit with the crowd! Dinner was served Family Style in the ballroom and included our Baby Green Salads with Toasted Almonds and Fresh Berries, Pecan Crusted Bourbon Chicken, Sliced Prime Rib, White Cheddar Grits, and Seasonal Vegetables. Following dinner the guests enjoyed a champagne toast and delicious wedding cake before heading out the patio for our S'Mores Station. A huge hit so far this summer, our station features homemade Plain and Peanut Butter Marshmallows along with all of the usual fixings. Complete with fire pit, wooden benches, and blankets-- it is the perfect treat for guests. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
