6.23 Highgrove Wedding

This weekend was another busy one for us at Highgrove, with three weddings! I only worked Saturday, so that is the beautiful wedding that I captured.
Amanda and Tyler had a stunning wedding filled with gorgeous flowers and delicious food. The couple exchanged their vows under the outdoor pergola, adorned with hanging lanterns and fresh florals. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio where they were served refreshing Pineapple Spritzers along with Cheddar Biscuits with Ham and also Coconut Shrimp with Red Pepper Sauce. The ballroom welcomed everyone in from the heat, where more beautiful flowers and decor awaited. After sharing their first dance together, the couple and their guests dined on our Summer Garden Salads, Pecan Crusted Bourbon Chicken, Smoked Beef Brisket, Garlic Roasted Mashed Potatoes, and Green Beans Almondine. After dinner, the toasts were made, the cake was cut, and then as a special treat for their guests, the bride and groom welcomed everyone to the S'Mores station outside on the patio. Guests grabbed their marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers and then headed over to the fire pit and campsite benches to make their treats. It was a beautiful day from start to end! 6.16 Wedding at Highgrove

This weekend we were so excited for the gorgeous weather as we had 3 weddings at Highgrove! Friday night I wasn't working, so I didn't capture the images from that event, but below are the photos from both Saturday weddings.
Our evening wedding on Saturday was a beautiful affair filled with special details and touches that made for a perfect event! Alex and Preston were married under our pergola as 180 friends and family watched as the couple said their vows under the hanging lanterns and ribbon. Cocktail hour was on our patio where guests enjoyed the bar along with our Fresh Fruit Cosmos, Crab Cakes, and Fried Green Tomato Crostini. After cocktail hour, everyone was welcomed into the vintage inspired decorated ballroom where vibrant and gorgeous flowers and table centerpieces adorned each table. Dinner was buffet style and included our Garden Salad, Pecan Crusted Bourbon Chicken, Green Beans Almondine, Roasted New Potatoes, and Smoked Beef Brisket. The champagne toast was held following dinner and then the cake cutting. I had to take a picture of the cake, as it was the most fun and interesting we've ever seen when cut and served! The guests danced the rest of the night away and ended the event with sparklers on the front porch. Congrats to all 3 couples who started their new lives together this weekend at Highgrove! June Weddings at Highgrove

Our brunch wedding during the morning was filled with delicious food from start to finish! Our couple exchanged their vows underneath the pergola as 150 friends and family watched under clear blue skies with a gentle breeze blowing. Cocktail hour on the patio featured our Fresh Fruit Cosmos and Ham and Cheddar Biscuits, along with our Non-Alcoholic Mojitos and Pink Lemonade. Guests then made their way into ballroom where they were welcomed by homemade Lemon Mousse with Phyllo Crisp at their seats. The second course was served family style and included our Creamy Grits, Crisp Bacon, Homemade Blueberry Scones, and Curry Chicken Salad on Croissants. After the guests were all served, the Belgium Waffle Station and chef attended Omelette Stations opened up. The waffles were made fresh on cast iron waffle makers and guests could choose between Chocolate or Vanilla Waffles and topping of Strawberries, Bananas Foster, Whipped Cream, and Nutella. It was a huge hit! The omelette station on the patio was popular as well with over 8 omelette fillings to choose from. After brunch, we opened up our Cookies and Milk station in the house where an attendant poured ice cold Milk into mini glasses and served up warm Chocolate Chip Cookies. If that wasn't enough food, the bride and groom also served their guests cupcakes and pies! It was a delicious event from start to end! Food and Drink: Highgrove, Linens: CE Rentals, Flowers

6.1 Highgrove Wedding

It was a rainy start for our first June wedding, but thankfully, the skies cleared up just in time for the wedding this past weekend. Our couple shared their vows underneath our pergola, as the dark clouds rolled out of sight and the sun came out. Everyone then moved up to the patio for cocktail hour where guests raved about our Coconut Shrimp, along with Fresh Fruit Cosmos, and Beef Tenderloin Crostini. The reception was held in our garden ballroom where the color scheme was black and silver, with multi-colored hydrangeas as the centerpieces on each table. Dinner was buffet style and featured our Pecan Crusted Bourbon Chicken, Beef Brisket, Green Beans Almondine, and Garlic Roasted Mashed Potatoes (our most popular menu by far!) Cake was served along with coffee as the guests enjoyed a wide range of music on the dance floor. It was a great start to a month of fabulous weddings!
