April Highgrove Weddings- 4/13

We have had a very busy April at Highgrove! Below is the entry from the wedding last weekend.

April 13- Congratulations to Jennie and Mark on their marriage! It was a gorgeous day filled with wonderful food and great company of the couple's family and friends from all over the world. Cocktail hour featured our Cured Salmon with Lemon Caper Cream in silver tins and Fried Green Tomato Crostini along with two signature drinks: A Stormy Morning and a Whisky Sour-- which the guests really enjoyed! Music was provided by a live piano and a fantastic pianist on the patio. Dinner was served Family Style and featured our Braised Short Ribs, Poached Salmon, Roasted New Potatoes, and Seasonal Vegetables along with wine service. After dinner, the guests and happy couple mingled, danced, and enjoyed the pleasure of their company who had come from close and far to celebrate. It was a sweet evening for a sweet couple.
