We were thrilled to enjoy such gorgeous weather for all three of our beautiful weddings this weekend! I hope to have some of the Friday event pictures up soon, but here are some pictures and comments from our Saturday and Sunday affairs.
Our Saturday wedding was a reception only, with our couple exchanging their vows in downtown Raleigh at Edenton St. Methodist Church before heading out to Highgrove for the reception. Guests enjoyed our Carolina Pulled Smoked Sliders and Cheddar Cheese Biscuits with Ham for cocktail hour under our lovely new patio gazebo. We were able to use the ceremony area for an extended cocktail hour space as well, with cocktail tables and decorations. Prior to dinner the guests watched on as Beth and Andy had their first dance along with two other special dances performed by the band. Dinner was served buffet style and following the first course of plated Field Green Salads, guests dined on our Cabernet Braised Beef Short Ribs with White Cheddar Grit Cakes, Pan Seared Chicken Marsala, and Poached Salmon in White Wine Sauce along with Roasted New Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables. The band opened with their first set of music as the guests enjoyed dancing to the great sound! Champagne toasts, wedding cake, and a special live performance by a guest (a fabulous rendition of a Frank Sinatra song!) ended the evening before the happy couple headed off under a sparkler departure. Congrats! Food and Drink: Highgrove, Linens: CE Rentals, Cake: Sweet Memories Bakery, Flowers: Fresh Affairs, Band: Stone Age Romeos, Photographer: Joy Lyn, Videographers: F8
